A good tip, while modeling cosplayers, keep an eye on their clothing. Cosplayers move while posing and sometimes wrinkles develop or something moves out of place. It helps the composition of the photo 10 fold if you take a second to check how the cosplay looks before snapping a photo. 😀

I just remember @onlyalicat stopping the shoot frequently because she wants to straighten out her clothing and I guess it is our job as photographers to look out for details that may improve a photo.

15 minute edit

I also decided to spend 10-15 minutes playing around with a photo per set then post my ideas here on my blogs. Here I was trying to use a debris brush to create sparkles around her and try and create a glow trailing around her. If I had more time I would have made the trail thicker and make the sparks more natural looking. The debris is very inconsistent throughout the image and doesn’t look like the debris has an origin.

Oh well, the idea was good but the execution is faulty.  Let me know if you would like me to give it another try.
